In the early phases of start-up projects, there is often uncertainty as to whether the identified problem is actually perceived as relevant and unsolved by potential target groups. Without systematic validation, there is a risk of developing business models or product concepts based on incorrect assumptions that do not meet the needs of the market.
Problem validation supports the methodical verification of the problem hypothesis. The aim is to create a reliable basis for the further development of solutions and business models.
The scope of services includes:
- a one-hour check-in meeting to clarify the problem hypothesis, target group definition and framework conditions
- the provision of structured guidelines for carrying out the problem validation (e.g. interview guidelines, target group templates, validation questions)
- an interim evaluation after approx. two weeks with a one-hour feedback and reflection meeting to assess the results to date and, if necessary, adapt the procedure
- and a one-hour final meeting after a further two weeks to discuss the results and derive recommendations for action for the further development of the business idea
Target group:
Problem validation is aimed at
- Start-up projects in the idea and pre-start-up phase that require a reliable basis for the further development of their business idea
- Start-ups in the early phase for which structured validation has not yet been carried out or has only been carried out insufficiently and who would like to catch up on this before further steps are taken (e.g. MVP development or approaching investors)
