EXIST concept paper

In order to apply for the EXIST start-up grant, a meaningful idea paper must be submitted. This document forms the content basis for the evaluation of the project by the project management team and must clearly and structurally present the innovative content as well as the implementation and exploitation prospects of the start-up idea.

The EXIST idea paper is prepared on the basis of the official requirements and contains all the necessary components in a formulated, application-ready format - supplemented by a financial plan appendix tailored to the project.

The scope of services includes:

• a one-hour initial meeting to record the start-up project, the content and technological context as well as the individual requirements of the university or the supervising network,
• the structured preparation of an approx. 15-page idea paper,
• the preparation of a financial plan annex (Excel) that meets the requirements and is adapted to the structure of the EXIST program,
• a final coordination meeting to hand over and discuss the finished application document.
